Detailed Description of Excursion:
Jamaica was once a plantation colony and its legacy is evident in numerous working plantations. Tour begins with shopping in town then journey to Prospect Plantation. At Prospect, you will be taken through the estate by a covered tractor-drawn jitney, while a guide introduces the various such as banana, sugarcane, pineapple, coffee and papaya. Find out why banana grows up and down. During the tour, you will be given an opportunity to sample many of the fruits in season.

After leaving Prospect, the group will enjoy a sightseeing tour of Ocho Rios, while visiting the Sony's Plaza for in bond duty free shopping, then the craft market for Jamaican handi-crafts.

The climax of the tour is a visit to the island's famous beauty spot-Dunn's River Falls. Here the group will be encouraged to join the fun and climb the 600-ft cascading waterfalls in a human chain led by experienced Fall Guides. On their way to the top, they will pause at the "massage parlor" and experience the soothing effects of the waters as it cascades to the sea, or just relax on the beach and enjoy the sun. If they are a souvenir hunter with a genuine love for woodcarving, straw craft and intuitive art are available, or they can browse through the shops in the Craft Park.
