Detailed Description of Excursion:
This is the only time you will feel like you have arrived in heaven whilst you are alive. H'Evans Scent is a labour of love and no tour would be complete without a walk around our fields. All around you are plants and flowers which were put in over the rainy seasons going back 5 years.
We set about clearing and planting - coconut trees, all types of fruit trees, almonds, heliconias, hibiscus, bougainvilleas, Joseph coats, and crotons - everything that you will see was planted.
Now you get the opportunity to see the actual plant or tree that provides those things that we pick up in our grocers stores back home.
Your re-education begins with seeing where we grow our cane, and just for your taste buds, your guide will cut some, strip off the outer skin and cut this into smaller bits; you get the chance to chew it and let the juice run down your lips and chin - and then you get permission to spit out the rest.
You will also see local delicacies such as jack fruit, passion fruit, pimento, cherry and apple trees, breadfruit, nutmeg, avocado, many herbs much more. Whatever is in season will be offered
